Look at her face. Look at those scars. That’s the face of someone who has seen battles and has raged wars. Someone who’s childhood was not stolen, but freely given to her friends and loved ones; the ultimate sacrifice to protect and stand with them until the end. She could have walked away. She could have gone into hiding. She could have saved herself. But she didn’t. She gave everything she had. And every word, every line is written in her eyes and worn on her skin. And THAT is why Hermione Jean Granger will always be my favorite.
